Don't need an Ipod to download music from Itunes. you can convert their files easily to Mp3 and play them on a computer, burn to a disc, put them on a different hardware media player, etc.

the cleanest legal Mp3 retailer I've found is emusic.com. They're also 20 cents or so cheaper on average per song vs. Itunes. You can download a Mp3 with no restrictions and listen to it on whatever media player you like, and no program or app is required. The two drawbacks are - 1) they're a subscription service, which means you've got to pay them at least $11.99 to download any songs and 2) they don't have agreements with some of the smaller labels. I am a subscriber though because as a music fanatic, I can always find $12 bucks a month worth of music I want, especially when that same music would cost around $20 on Itunes or at a traditional retailer.
Itunes is my personal favorite. The program is a great way to manage music as well as play it. Playlists are much easier to manage as well vs. any other program I've seen. I've never tried Napster though.
I doubt Itunes would be the only supplier if Teddy's music catalog came to the web. Itunes has a few exclusive contracts but I don't think Teddy's would be one. The music would likely go to almost all of the mainstream Mp3 retailers. I'm hopeful this will happen.

Thanks for voting.
Itunes seems to be code-word for "Online MP3 sales." so that's the main reason I used it. Also - any music publisher would want to sell there as they're #1. It's a shame they are hard to use for the visually impaired, especially since they're selling music! You should contact them. They're very customer oriented and may take a look at it if you did.

Bump.
The artist here did a great job. I wish they'd stop back by and share some more of these!

For those of you who have "liked" our facebook page... please go there and vote in a poll I've posted asking about the interest in having the TR music catalog on Itunes. Of course I expect you all to vote "Yes!" If you don't already have a facebook account or haven't liked our page, now is the perfect time to do so. www.facebook.com/pages/Teddy-Ruxpin-Online/121308884573539I will be forwarding the poll results to the powers that be, in hopes of showing them how successful an Itunes library would be for Teddy.

I wondered where you were on this topic, Tom as I know you're a bear collector.

Yes - to echo the other responses, the animated "movie" released in the 90's was just an edit of the first few episodes of the TV show. The packaging featured some really awesome artwork on the cover, though, and it's worth buying for that.
There was also a live action movie released in 1985 that used performers in costumes rather than animation, and is essentially the same as the first couple of episodes as well.
I would be hesitant to use the term "remastered." when it comes to this new DVD set coming out in June, but the episodes per disc is lower than the Millcreek release, which means we should see some noticible quality improvements. I'm interested to see what they've done with it.

They haven't learned 21st century language yet.... they're still calling it the "Outbox" It's in the right hand corner on the bar above the private messages you've recieved. It should show all that you've sent.

Sorry to hear of this.
I can only go on the record as far as to say I recommend Dr. Eeyore. I have never used her service, but I have been in contact with her several times and have heard only good things from others. It seems as if right now she is taking a break for personal reasons - but If I had the choice, I'd still hold out until she comes back from her break. She seems to have a good business ethic and has also been known to help people out in their own repairs. For these reasons I have decided she is the one I will link to. I have never been approached by any other services for a link, anyhow.
In any case, I too would encourage you to visit the BBB if you feel you've been wronged by any business. Welcome to the forum. I hope you stick around for other discussion as well. Now that you have created a thread, please keep all posts related to this in this thread.
Thanks! ~Josh

I could see Teddy using the WWW for very altruistic purposes such as bringing his fellow Illiops home. MAVO would probably hire hackers (They'd have to... they don't exactly have a lot of brains on board) to mess up the plan, and that could make a great 21st century episode. Grundo 's technology will probably never overlap ours though - but it's fun to think about I keep imagining Tweeg and the internet meeting. That would create a whole new outlet for his greed and paranoia

This sounds like a fantastic option for visually impaired people. My Grandpa is visually impaired and I bet he'd enjoy something like this as well on programs he enjoys. Unfortunately I would doubt this was added to this release. It is definitely something I will run by the powers that be if I ever hear of a new release.

Not one before Teddy, for sure. The technology was something of a revolution when it was released, and Ken Forsse holds all the patents on the technology - which were first put into use for Teddy. I believe Cyborg is probably right about Gabby Bear probably being what your friend is thinking about. There were several ripoffs made after word of Teddy got out - that's how groundbreaking the tech was. Gabby Bear was probably the most original in that at least it didn't copy Teddy's outward design, so I will give it that. I have never had a desire to own the Teddy ripoffs - to borrow the old phrase - why buy a hamburger when you have steak on the table? so I'm not sure what kind of stories Gabby told. From what Ive heard they were pretty generic.
