Is Teddy Ruxpin: The Movie, just the first three or four episodes of the TV show? Also, what is going to be new with the new DVD's coming out with the TV show? Will they finally be remastered??? Thank you in advance! Sorry if these questions where answered, new here.

The movie is similar to the first few episodes, but some of the dialogue is different. I don't know about the visuals because I can't see it. I think it's live action with people in costumes, IIRC.

As far as I know, there were only two movies made.
There was the live-action movie, with the animatronic costumes, and an animated 'movie' that was pretty much just the first few episodes of the series put together.

If this one (video by blueoctopede) is the one you mean, then yes, it's just the first few episodes of the TV series, in abridged form. Unfortunately, I have no idea if the new DVD set will be remastered or restored in any way - sorry about that!

Yes - to echo the other responses, the animated "movie" released in the 90's was just an edit of the first few episodes of the TV show. The packaging featured some really awesome artwork on the cover, though, and it's worth buying for that.
There was also a live action movie released in 1985 that used performers in costumes rather than animation, and is essentially the same as the first couple of episodes as well.
I would be hesitant to use the term "remastered." when it comes to this new DVD set coming out in June, but the episodes per disc is lower than the Millcreek release, which means we should see some noticible quality improvements. I'm interested to see what they've done with it.

Thank you all for answering. I hope those live action movies will be released! I remember them as a kid and would love them in my collection. =)
