I know that if anyone wanted to sell off any of my Teddy merchandise, they'd have to pry it from my cold, dead hands.

Broken items can still have some value, even if it's just in the buyer's eyes. Too much stuff out there, I mean the really good collectibles, are ripped, snapped, rusted or other. But just holding on to that item is holding on to history. Besides, this one has a few little figures that are really hard to come by (LB for one). Picking it up for the figures alone is a treat.
I'll keep trolling eBay and post any other neat finds I may come across. My collection is pretty substantial now as it is that it'll have to be something really amazing to get me to snap it up.
Your friendly neighborhood internet Mouse ^_^

I was lucky enough to find and snatch up a copy of "The Missing Princess" book in Japanese. It finally arrived today. I'm very pleased with that find. Now if I could only find a Japanese tape.

Here are those pics of the Land of Grudno Play Area (the vinyl map). I took six shots altogether. Sorry, but it was hard to get a full shot of the whole map (the thing is HUGE) and I didn't have proper lighting. I have two attempted shots of the whole map and four "quadrant" shots: one of each corner so hopefully you can see where everything is a little clearer. There are lots of locations that aren't in the back of the books like Tweeg's Mom, The Grunge Village (just "Grunges" in the books), Trembly Fault, and The Bird People (near the Land of Ying). The pics are pretty large. I don't know what kind of connection anyone is using, so be warned that they may take some time to load. I uploaded them to a photobucket album rather than posting each pic here on the board. Here's the link. Obviously, feel free to download any pics you might want for fun or reference. s44.photobucket.com/albums/f7/vilicles/Land%20of%20Grundo%20Play%20Area/

As mentioned on Josh's site, there will be a boxed set of all the DVDs out in January 2009.
Hope they include some nice bonus features for Teddy fans...

Well, the $240 US price tag isn't too bad when you think about all you're getting. Any good collector will also tell you it's better to get doubles than just that one item so the duplicate and triplicate of the figures is not a bad choice.
Personally though, I wouldn't buy it unless you plan on doing some reselling of the duplicates and triplicates.

I paid $150 for a MIB Airship model with one of each toy and a Land of Grundo Map, so this is a little more expensive, but still not too bad. I just know a lot of Teddy fans search for this item, and they are VERY hard to find...hopefully it goes to a true fan!

The airship and baby Teddy are the 2 biggest finds out there for the toys. Not to mention any outfit made for Grubby to wear. Sellers know collectors are hungry for these toys and will gouge prices left, right, and centre to get us to pay.
This from the person who paid to get 2 baby Teddy's (one in box, one out) and currently has a Teddy Little Bopper sitting on her desk at work ^_^
I'm a hopeless true fan.
