A few months back ordered a Ebay WoW Teddy Ruxpin... as my original quit working about three years ago and I'm terrified that if I send him off to be repaired the postal truck will crash or something and my original will be gone forever... (long story short just decided I'd buy one that didn't have exceptional sentimental value) anyway the last time I visited Ken I realized how many WoW stories I missed out on... and now that I have a working WoW talker again I want to get a few of them... especially the ones that BackPack hasn't published yet. If anyone is looking to sell let me know. Tapes must be in working condition, clean and preferably tested for quality. Books don't have to be perfect as I know kids owned most of these at one point in time but the binding must be intact so I dont lose pages. Here's a list of the ones I already have:
The Airship, The Missing Princess, All About Bears, Autumn Adventure, Winter Adventure.
Interested especially in the ones BackPack hasn't published. Anyone selling let me know.

I've added a fourth Episode to the Episode Guide... one of my favorite ten or fifteen episodes of the series.... "The Faded Fobs" check it out .. ruxpin.we.bs/fadedfobs.html For those of you who may be navigating the site off of Bookmarks... I switched the secondary pages of the site to a bannerless host which means only the homepage is on the TeddyRuxpinOnline.org domain. I am still uploading pages to both sites just in case I experience a crash at the bannerless host, but I'm only posting to the domain once or twice a month instead of each time I update so if you are navigating by old bookmarks from before the site re-design you may not see the latest stuff. Let me know what you all think about the Episode guide as well. I'm planning on doing 2 or 3 episodes a month for now.. not planning anything in chronological order.. so if you like a particular episode feel free to jump in and send me your review (include screencaps if you want & are able... if not I will be happy to capture them myself) I've got a seperate section going for "Grubby's Romance" storyline & episode so that is the only one off-limits. I'd like to have all of the episodes reviewed and then move on to Book Reviews from "The Adventure Series" next year sometime. Thanks! Josh

Thanks for the kind comments, Summerhayes. It's great to have a new enthusiastic member of our group. I'm not aware of any other forums devoted specifically to Teddy although I'm sure there are a few out there. I am hoping the blog will generate more daily fan interest in Teddy and then in turn we will see more posts here on the forum. I plan on posting, at minimum, at least twice a week here and twice a week on the blog- hopefully more. This is a great opportunity for the fans to band together and show everyone that Teddy is very much worth keeping around for a long time this time.
Thanks again for Joining!

Re-watching this show (thank god for MillCreek Entertainment) over the past couple of months has showed me exactly why I have the sense of humor I do... being influenced by this show as greatly as I was as a little kid. One particular moment that made me laugh out loud was in "Double Grubby".... Tweeg has sat down to write a letter to Elanor to request a raise in his allowance. "Dear Mummy..... no, makes her sound old. 'Dearest Mommy' no, too centimental. 'Now Listen Here You Hag Faced Hidiousity' .. no, she never listens to me!" Tweeg's perpetual paranoia also got me a good laugh in that one when he sees the two Grubby's and automatically assumes that Gimmick is forming an Octopede army to steal his recipe for making gold.... Tweeg rubbed off on a few people too... unfortunately some people (Like a certain friend of ours in the former Soviet Union) forget that Tweeg's antics are meant to be a laughing-at you joke instead of a laughing-with you one.... that's a story for another time though

I too saw that products page.... I had heard a year or so ago or maybe more that they were planning a Christmas Teddy. I think the Xmas and the Lullabies versions are neat ideas and a little more affordable so maybe some of the people who havent got a Teddy IV will pick one up and see the price is worth it. Although I liked the idea of the 2 pack bundles of stories I wished that they had more titles in singles, and it looks like they're planning on it there.
I've emailed BackPack as well and no response as of yet. Lets cross our fingers that these new products will be out soon.

Hi All-
As some of you may remember, Teddy's 23rd birthday is coming up this September, which means the 25 year mark is just two short years away. If anybody doubts how fast two years can go, ask the players of the Miami Heat. (NBA fans will get the joke)
Anyway, I have always dreamed of doing some sort of documentary style video production about Teddy, his fans, and his universal appeal. Unfortunately I don't have a filmmaker's budget so flying around the country/world to interview you all for it is unfortunately not a possibility. In this age of YouTube and instant connectivity, however, I think our problems are solved. I hope to interview Ken and Phil Baron in person for the project and also get some input from Jeff Wilson. Anyway, I am taking the cost of the video production software and hardware on myself and hope to have it in my house and ready to go by early 2009, which will give us about a year to get everything together. I am preparing a list of "interview" style questions/bullet-points as to what specifically Id like you to discuss. When I get these it would warm my heart if everyone could take a few out of what I know are a lot of busy schedules and send these to me. I think clips from all over the world talking about how much & why they love TR after all these years would be a very great compilation.
Let me know what you all think.... Josh

Hey All, I'm in the process of what hopefully will be my last re-design & major update to the site... Im going to begin this weekend and hopefully finish after the fourth of July sometime. I've got the bugs in my HTML worked out and am ready to start pasting pages up. The site will still be found at www.teddyruxpinonline.org with secondary pages going to a different web host which offers bannerless hosting. Anyway, once the site is completed I will only be doing minor updates... changing a link here and there, updating product news, etc. To keep in touch and post on a more regular basis Ive decided to put up a blog... teddyruxpinblog.wordpress.com Check it out! Josh

Hi Everybody
Just to let you know I'm going to be using the board's membership list as a mailing list when new stuff happens. If anybody would like to "Opt Out" let me know, but you'll be missing all the latest Teddy news!
