I will delete both of the threads relating to this subject as soon as the subject is dead, which should be quite soon
As I said before I have made the board members only now. Before, a guest could reply to a topic, leading to the influx of crap we had here. Now, all posts must come from a registered member, and I highly doubt that any of the spammers will bother to register and wait for approval in order to blast us. If under some twilight-zone scenerio they do, the problem will be much easier to correct and report to the proper authorities.
I have deleted a couple of entire threads that were infected by Sir Spamalot. This was admittedly a lazy move on my part in order to not go through and delete each individual message, saving me probably about a half hour of time. I apologize if there was anything in these (very few) threads that anyone needed. There hadn't been much discussion other than discussing the spam on those few threads for awhile.
Once again, I am nearing a place in my life where things will hopefully be less hectic. I had a couple of these times last year in which I got a lot on the site done, but unfortunately the periods of rest didn't last long and It has been a very busy winter. I am looking forward to getting 6-8 updates on the site done over the summer and continuing to make Teddy Ruxpin Online a premier resource for fans and collectors of Teddy.
The next thing on my list is long-overdue, and that is to post the wonderful contributions of Kayla and others. I hope to one day be able to simply be the moderator of Teddy Ruxpin Online as the web moves to a more wikipedia-ish style, and I am blessed to have such great colleagues and friends here on the board who love Teddy as much as I do and who I trust will continue to be here at the site and help me in that journey.
I will leave the board members-only for the remainder of this board's existance, so no more problems there.
Josh
