For those of you that collect Teddy Ruxpin Toys, books, tapes, and merchandise, what is the most unique item you have in your collection? Secondly, what's the most unique Teddy Ruxpin item you've seen (either on Ebay for sale or elsewhere)?
I own tons of Teddy merchandise, but my favorites would have to be the animation cells I own from The New Adventures of Teddy Ruxpin. I have one of Teddy and Grubby and one of Gimmick and Grubby. They have hand painted backgrounds and I love them. I also just got the original sheet music for "Come Dream With Me Tonight." I didn't even know that sheet music was available until I found this one. I wish I could find sheet music to the lullaby songs.
The most unique item I've ever seen was a Teddy Ruxpin Costume. It was life sized and could be worn by someone 5'4." It was sold on Ebay last year for just over $800. I thought that was pretty different. I wonder what the winner did with it?

Most unique items I ever saw was on eBay last month. Someone was selling a porceleine set of every single AdvRux characters that was ever introduces. Very cute stuff.
They stood 5" tall and were beautifully painted and glazed. Sold for $250 US. Wish I had seen them earlier, I could have planned my finances better to buy them myself.

It's hard to pick just one favorite item. I know for me, getting a Grubby was a big deal because I'd always wanted one and used to write Santa for one every Christmas, even into the 90's after WOW had gone out of business. But I think my favorite item is the toy Airship. I bought that along with a Land of Grundo play map and all the figures for somewhere around $150 on eBay. It was a good thing, too, because it was the last Airship I saw until one went sometime last month. It is in great condition and sits on my shelf with the airbag fully inflated and the figures on board. It's also supposed to float, but I don't have the heart to dip it in water. I always thought it would be cool to buy another ship and repaint it to make it the Eclipse. But there really are no M.A.V.O. figures to put on board. I think the toy line was mainly concerned with the characters from the books and tapes rather than the television series. Still, a Quellor figure would've been great. Can't think of a really unique item I've seen, although I love seeing the original toy store displays go up. They're much to expensive for me to buy, but I would love to have a Teddy that runs on AC!

I also love the airship toy as well. I had it as a child and it does indeed float in water. I used to play with it in the pool. I got a MIB airship a few years back to replace the one I had as a child. I'm still missing an L.B. figure. I keep forgetting I need him when I actually see him for sale.

I own two rare pieces of Teddy merchandise... in fact so rare that only one exists of each.
The first is an original drawing of Grubby that hung in the AlchemyII offices. He looks a little different with more of a dinosaur/bird like "beak" rather than his rounded facial features and his feet are more like claws... otherwise he has the same coloring and round body shapes.
The second is the large Purple fob prop from the Live action TV pilot/movie.

Wow. Attack of the Bots, maybe?
Anyway, my personal unique Teddy item is a copy of 'The Missing Princess' written in Japanese.

I was so giddy when I was able to snag it. Now if I could just find the matching tape, I'd be set.
