Hi.
Just Thought I'd introduce myself. (Josh, feel free to delete if necessary.)
My name is Matthew - I'm 22 and I have been interested in Teddy Ruxpin since probably seventh - eighth grade. While I was new to Teddy at that point, I was used to WOW's Talking toys. As far as Teddy goes, my favorite characters are Teddy, Grubby ( There is sentimental reason for Grubby - His eight legs reminds me of my wheelchair, and his personality I think, Matches my own.) Tweeg and LB.

Welcome aboard the... eh, board Matthew Glad to have you here. I remember our coorespondance awhile back via email and glad you popped in and joined our forums. Grubby is my favorite character too... and I also see a bit of his personality (and apeteit) in my own self.... although I've never tried root stew. Look forward to cooresponding more with you, once again thanks for joining. Josh

Always nice to have new members! Welcome!
Grubby holds a special place for me because as a child, I asked for a Grubby talker EVERY year for Christmas, and never got one. Then, on my 10th birthday, my mom and dad bought me one that someone had up at a yard sale near our house. I was so thrilled! Grubby always makes me laugh, and, even though I knew I probably would never like it, I always wondered just what went in to Root Stew (besides roots, of course...) When we were little, my brothers and I would make mud soup and call it Root Stew in Grubby's honor.
It's amazing how these simple characters can give us so many great memories.
Hope to hear from you often! Again, welcome!
Vilicles
