It is a crying shame none of those links work. Do you have another way to reach them? I was curious about all of that.

Unless I typed something wrong, there weren't any pictures. Just the text he posted in post #6.

These are floating around EBay at times. They are similar to the small action figures released with the Airship. I own the Grubby one. There were some prototype figures made that would have been released with the original Hi-Tops videos, too. The figures depicted scenes from the particular video. I own the one from Grubby's Romance, of course There was another of Tweeg I believe. I haven't been able to find these again since I bought mine back in 2005 or so.

Glad to have been of assistance! It's only a shame that Animation Fascination has no picture of the figure of Teddy... We don't have Wendy's over here, and to my knowledge no fast-food chains that do have a UK presence ever licensed the series for kids' meal premiums (I don't know if that was different within continental Europe, though), so I never even knew that these existed until a few days ago.

Wait, I got the Grubby's Romance VHS back in 1987 when it was brand new (other's too, just mentioned that one since you did), and it didn't have any prototype figures, just the pen pal post card with it. How did you get such a thing?

Wait, I got the Grubby's Romance VHS back in 1987 when it was brand new (other's too, just mentioned that one since you did), and it didn't have any prototype figures, just the pen pal post card with it. How did you get such a thing? The fact that they're prototypes that "would" (as Josh said) have depicted certain scenes suggests that they ultimately never went to mass-production, and that probably only a few at most exist at all. I would imagine that Josh was extremely lucky and happened to come to know someone who owned the prototypes, or someone who was involved was selling them online at some point, and that that's how he got his.

And yet you felt the need to reply, when I actually got the VHS tapes new in 1987 which was apparently before you were born.
