Hi,
I have a story about my cat and WCT Teddy. A while back, I noticed a spot on Teddy's face that felt rough. I thought at first that he had somehow gotten something on his face. I tried to clean it with a damp cloth but nothing happened. It turned out that some of the fuzz had come off. The funny part is how it happened. I've mentioned before that my cat likes Teddy. It surprised me just how much. My family members saw him licking Teddy's face. He kissed some of the fuzz on his muzzle right off. Now, over half is gone. Never have I known a cat to like a toy that much. Is there a way to repair the damage or would you recommend some fake fur or other fabric to replace the fuzzy material? Do you have any tips to get the cat a bit less interested in Teddy? I'm fine with him liking Teddy but would prefer him not to lick his face.

Ha! Sounds like your cat thought Teddy needed a facial.
I don't know what you could do to repair the damage done, but you might could put Teddy up on a shelf where your cat can't get to him.

I have been keeping them apart. Finding a spot where Teddy wouldn't jump off was tricky. Teddy's a bit of a stunt man when he wants attention. Once, I put him on the shelf and started walking away. I heard him sliding and jumped to catch him. It didn't work and I crashed into my bedroom door with my side. Somehow, Teddy ended up hanging upside down halfway to the floor and I grabbed him from there. Of my various Teddies, that one has the most character. Between him and my cat, Ollie, There's not much boredom.

Heh heh. You really got a character of a Teddy.
First time I've heard of Teddy unintentionally making someone hurt themselves. I hope you didn't get hurt too bad.

No, it was just a minor bump. This happened at night so I was tired at the time, which didn't help. I was glad that we both came out mostly unscathed and surprised at Teddy's acrobatic skill to catch himself like he did. I wish he could teach me that trick.
