I have a quick question and statement. It seems to me that it's hard to find a clean, fully functional, grubby, at a affordable price on ebay. there'one that's like 69 dollars and is untested. usually they either don't have the cord or a teddy or say they don't have batteries. I've been looking for a grubby for a while now. I purchased 2 that said worked but when tested, with 2 diff cords and teddies, didn't work.Dose anyone know where I can get one. I wish there was a online shop that sold teddies and grubbys as well as puppets, figs, tapes and books, ect. like a teddy shop.

I'm having the same problem. Perhaps save up and buy one from Dr. Eeyore when she sells them again in the summer? I don't know what her prices are, but they may be up there.

I think it can be difficult to find a working Grubby on the cheap. The cords are usually gone and are not cheap in themselves. And repairing a Grubby is more difficult that a Teddy repair by comparison. Getting one apart and back together can prove to be rather frustrating. I'm told that even the Grundo Hospital would not repair them back in the day. if Dr. Eeyore has any for sale, you might say that they are not cheap and be right. But she guarantees them and will provide a cord as well. If you are not handy, patient, and take a roll of the dice on whether you can really get a non-working Grubby back to life, it is a good option if the wallet can take the hit.

thank you all. I was thinking about toysthattalk. I bought a playskool mother goose from her, but the battery area had some problems, and when I messaged her she told me to send it back and she'd fix it free of charge and she'd pay shipping ,she works great now btw. but when I looked on her site it looks like the domain name has expired.
