I have been watching blueoctopese's video on how to convert the tapes into mp3s basically u put a tape in a boom box and plug tape player into audacity and recored animatronic movement and audio and then play that using a cassete adapter with teddy. now I have tried this ,but I don't have a boom box. I am getting one , and already have downloaded audacity. I have tested this and have been able to recored audio. Blueoctopede's video was back in about 2010 so they probably updated audacity is this the right version if so let me know. anyway I need to know how to get the audio and servo movments on the file for my new channel on youtube if someone could post a step by step guide "with picture preferred" I would greatly appreciate

If I remember correctly from her video, you need to be able to have your audio source only do one channel at a time (the sound, or the animation audio). You have to record this twice, one for each side of the stereo audio, and then piece them back together as a stereo file.
I've been meaning to do this myself, but I've yet to come across a boombox that can let me select the audio channel. I almost wonder if I could use my Tiger 2XL to rip audio, since he's capable of letting me listen do just the tape audio or the animation audio. I can't recall if he has a headphone jack though. I'll need to check.
