Best I can see Tweeg is like Spike from Buffy or even Richard from the Looking For Group webcomic. He so wants to be evil, it's in his blood, but his best efforts don't always go the way he plans.

So Tweeg, more or less, is an incompetent pre-Buu saga Vegeta?

Ahhh Spike...one of my favorite villains of all time...I wasn't a big fan of his post-Season 5...but up until then he was gold...absolute gold...
The difference is, Spike had a physical condition that held him back from unleashing his true evil, and it eventually tamed him. Tweeg has nothing to hold him back except his own ineptitude. I agree that he lacks the evil core every villain must have, but I think that is only because it is not fully developed. He wants so badly to be Supreme Oppressor, and clearly enjoys making other people miserable. The thing about Tweeg is that he is more like a child playing bad guy: he overcompensates, and it backfires on him. If he were a little more mature, he could be the next Quellor, but being under his mother's watchful eye all the time makes him more prone to childlike tendencies...not a good recipe for Grundo's Greatest Villain.

I'm inclined to believe that his mother is one of the biggest factors holding him back. If he wasn't so hellbent on trying to please her, I believe he'd be more of a threat.
Tweeg has the brains, as seen when he sold his mother to the Mudblup king and when he convinced her and LB that he was still under the influence of the Black Box. He's just really impatient and tends to fly by the seat of his robes. If he could ever get the patience to just sit down and think for more than a second, I really believe he'd be able to plan a power play that would shake MAVO to its core.

Okay, so a more apt analogy of Tweeg today would be the 40 year old virgin living in his Mother's basement as he hatches half-baked plans to better himself and take over the world.
I wonder, would Tweeg own a computer if he were in our world? He could end up like Doctor Evil from the Austin Powers movies. (*shudder*) Baaaaaaaad mental image of a Tweeg mini-me

They can goto North. There are Illiops in the North. Woody What's-It can goto where the Giant Snowzos live.

You know your brain has been completely and totally fried by the summer's heat when you come up with a complete and workable scenario for a Stargate: Atlantis / LegRux cross-over fic.
(*goes off to find aspirin as she mutters a little like Dr. Rodney McKay*)

We're getting 33C around here and I've started watching Stargate: Atlantis from the beginning again. That, combined with an overheated but creative mind and you come up with some of the strangest scenarios.
I need another vacation... and a pool filled with ice water.
