When talking with my best friend the other day we were talking about Teddy Ruxpin's 30th anniversary because of course 2015 marks 30 years of Teddy Ruxpin since it was released in 1985. Does anyone know if anything has been done to commemorate 30 years of Teddy Ruxpin? My friend suggested that even if a new version of Teddy Ruxpin wasn't forthcoming, there could still be a little something done to commemorate 30 years of Teddy Ruxpin, perhaps some basic merchandise like T-Shirts, caps, badges, perhaps even some comic books or things like that. But does anyone actually know of anything being done to basically celebrate Teddy's 30th birthday so to speak? I understand from Josh Isaacson's Teddy Ruxpin Online Facebook page that he was planning some sort of Teddy Ruxpin documentary of sorts by Christmas time and I think he was asking people to send in their Teddy Ruxpin experience stories and testimonials, I should read the post again to be sure because I could of course be wrong or I could have misinterpreted what Josh said on his page, how many of you were aware of this?

Well actually it's an article that's being published, not a documentary as I said in the last post, I'm not sure who's writing the article or publishing it.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I'm currently in the process of doing some art of the Trio as the three Ghosts from A Christmas Carol.

I'm reviewing every Teddy Ruxpin episode from the book and tape sets to the animated series on my blog. I do it once a week, and that will continue into next year.

I'm already done with Teddy, and now I'm working on Grubby.

What do you mean when you say you're reviving them? Are you uploading the tapes and episodes to your blog? I'm writing reviews of every book and tape set, and episode of the animated series. So, I would watch or listen to a Teddy Ruxpin episode or tape, look at the artwork for the books, if I can find scans, and then write what I thought about each episode. Like movie critics do. I put the link to my blog in another post in the non-Teddy related section of the forum, so people can check them out. I review movies, TV shows, and comic books as well, but, once a week, I sit down and write about Teddy Ruxpin. I tried doing it on a daily basis, but, I found it hard to do that, and keep up with all the other reviews that I do in a week, so I cut it back to once a week.

No problem. I've been reviewing one story per week. I was originally going to do it daily, but, decided to just do it once a week, in case something happens that prevents me from doing reviews and makes me become a week behind on them.

Well, I suppose Alchemy II are celebrating Teddy's 30th birthday, 2 years late, but celebrating it nonetheless, but now I'm just being pedantic you see. In case you don't know, and I suspect most of you who are reading this thread probably do know by now, last week it was announced that Wicked Cool Toys will supposedly be releasing a new version of Teddy Ruxpin late next year. I'm very excited about this. I know people are going to be skeptical of this and I know why, but I'm happy to hear this news and I sincerely hope this works out very well.

Teddy Ruxpin should look realistic, original design was so cute.. And, Mother Goose? Don't ruin Mother Goose! She is my favourite...

I also don't like the idea of LCD eyes very much either, I too hope they don't use them.

Would you mind providing us with a link to your blog please? I'm sure there are people here who'd love to read it.
