Hi all,
I'm planning on adding two new sections to the site very soon. One will be "My Favorite..." which will replace the Fan Tribute section. Here, I'll be asking fans to complete essays about their favorite Teddy stuff.... you can add pictures, YouTube style videos, etc. I think this will help possible manufacturers of Teddy see the long-lasting appeal that he has.
The second section I'm adding will be Adventure Series Reviews (The stories that play in the toy)
Anybody that can help out with either it would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Ooh, the Adventure Series Reviews would be fun to work on. Especially since I just got eight new tapes, plus I already have some from my Playskool version. Those'll count too, right?

A few of the BackPack ones have been re-mastered to include new artwork and slightly revised storylines... the Playskool books had different cover artwork but the stories were the same. When reviewing, we will just have to show which version we are reviewing, so yes the Playskool and BackPack versions will definately work

I'd especially be interested in seeing the comparison images. I hear that the updated Backpack art is beautiful.

Onemouse- Would love your help and thank you for offering!
Kayla- The new Maggie Parr artwork is quite stunning. Ken really worked closely with her on it and the TLC he gives the Teddy Ruxpin property really shows. The updated storylines in the books are also quite cool, and Phil Baron came back to do new voices and didn't miss a beat even 20 years after the original.

Maggie Parr's art is the art on the official Teddy Ruxpin site, isn't it? If it is, it is absolutely beautiful.

Kayla, I think some of the character poses were around from the beginning.... I was in Ken's office when he was doing a lot of small touchups to those including adding more realistic - and very cool looking- eyes to Teddy and Grubby. (I got to choose Princess Aruzia's eyecolor, hehe, I'll go to my grave still being excited about that The newer artwork is most certainly Maggie. She has just done a phenomenal job... she's got a great vision for the characters. Along with Ken's guidance, they make a great team.

I agree wholeheartedly. Her art makes the official site look beautiful. I have to admit, everyone looks much better with colored irises than just straight black.

Just added Eleanor Tweeg's character profile and 3 new song lyrics to the site for the 2nd update of this week... wow I'm on a roll, lol
The new songs are Take a Good Look, The Ballad of Elroy Tweeg (two of my favorites) and "I Like Being Myself"

Josh. You said this earlier "I think some of the character poses were around from the beginning.... I was in Ken's office when he was doing a lot of small touchups to those including adding more realistic ".
I thought Ken was a writer only. I didn't realise that he drew as well. Cool!
