Hi Everyone,
Just want to thank you all for visiting my site over the past decade. It was 10 years ago today when I signed up with a GeoCities account and put a small page with a little bit of Teddy info and pictures up on the web. I had been following the TRFAQ for some time (And Creed's now defunct page) and I decided the more people that showed their interest in Teddy in an online format the better for bringing him back. I'd like to hope those of us with online tributes to the characters have contributed in some small way to Teddy's return.
The site has came a long way in a decade and I've been very blessed to meet such wonderful people as a result of starting this project.... first and foremost my lifelong hero who I now proudly call friend, Ken Forsse.
Anyway, thanks to you all also for all your interest in Teddy. Children are of course the future and I believe by aiding in keeping these characters alive we are truly helping to change the world for the better.
Hope you are all here in another ten years. Josh

I think I speak for everyone when I say we should be thanking you.
There aren't that many Teddy Ruxpin sites out there to begin with, and even fewer of those have sections dedicated to the animated series. The TRFAQ has a very good section for the series, but it doesn't have character images like yours does, and I love character images.
I hope that your site sticks around much longer than the next ten years and that this site continues to grow.

Thanks Kayla for the kind words.
I certainly anticipate the site being around as long as the internet is accessible to the average person for a simple design such as mine anyway. Eventually I hope to upgrade my personal software tho and do a lot more eye-catching things with it.
I'm looking forward to the next step in the evolution of the page which is off to a good start.. getting several contributors to help the site grow and add additional perspectives. The support Ive recieved already from you all regarding the episode guide is a great sign.

I agree with Kayla, whole-heartedly. We should be thanking you for your unique brand of awesome that you brought to the internet and the TR community. Hell, all my LegRux work would not have existed if it were not all inspired by you, your support, and this website and forum... no, these monuments and shrines you've built to commemorate a set of characters and an expanding world that are worth remembering and you've all of it dedicated to the man who brought it to life in a wonderful and captivating way. For a cartoon series and set of merchandise that has a cult popularity, you -under Ken's watchful and approving eye- may as well have made it into one of civilisations truest religions, one that continues to make all of us a believer day after day of something good and wholesome in this dreary world that makes us feel so out of place.
Out of the eight or nine years that I known you, you've always been there and I hope that you will be here not for ten years, not thirty, but fifty more - directing our talents to bringing back this character and continuing his adventures. In addition, I hope you will still be here to write powerful new stories that inspire new generations to come. And I - for one- will see that happen if that's what you want. I believe THAT MUCH in you and your work, bruh!
Your resident blue-blazing DND Cleric of Ruxpin. -Ben (Legendbourne)

Josh,
I want to join everyone else in thanking you for keeping the flame of Teddy alive for us.
My own enthusiasm for Teddy has wavered on many occasions, but each time I saw what was being done on your site and it's many iterations, I would find reasons to come back to him.
On a personal note, you were one of the first people I found who seemed as overwhelmingly affected by Teddy as I had been. You understood that Teddy was more than just a character, he was a friend.
I am proud to be here among fellow fans who share this appreciation for Teddy, and to be affiliated with people working hard to keep this spirit alive for years to come.
As always, I look forward to working with you and other fans to make this site the best it can possibly be so that Teddy and his friends may live on for years to come.
Thank you.
Vilicles

The responses in this thread continue to warm my heart. Sometimes the fictional realm can bring a level of happiness to one's life that transforms that realm into a place that's not so fictional at all when validated by real life experiences. Meeting my lifelong hero out of the deal is enough to accomplish that in itself... then I meet individuals, here being one example, that so generously offer me the kind of friendship Teddy and co. offered me and each other, and I'm twice as lucky. I'm so thankful and proud to have had so many of you here with me keeping the memories of Teddy alive when he was gone, and that you are all still here now that he has returned, making sure that nobody ever forgets again the special kind of friendship he offers, and also the warm friendships and positive emotions that he fosters between and within others.
