This has been buzzing around in my head for a little while, now, so I figured that I'd throw this question out there for everyone to answer: If you could write a Teddy Ruxpin story about one topic, just one (so, not a series of stories), what would it be about?
Would you cover a moral that the original stories and TV series didn't? Would you take a similar moral to an existing one and put a new spin on it? Would you rather write an educational tale or a song collection, instead?
Myself, I thought about this long and hard, and figured that I would probably take a similar approach to Wooly and the Giant Snowzos (the moral of which was really, basically, "Don't believe unfounded rumours about people."), and spin it differently. The reason for this is because poor news reporting about current events, as well as silly stories about UFOs and the like, used to absolutely terrify me as a child. Accordingly, I think that I would like to take this idea and write a story around it (probably using the UFO tales that used to scare me as a basis, since they're a pretty typical childhood bogeyman), where the ultimate moral would be "Do your research, and don't get upset because of stories about things you don't know much about, or which might actually be completely untrue.".
What would you guys do?

I might do a backstory adventure like The Day Teddy Met Grubby, except I would do it with Gimmick first moving to the valley and encountering Tweeg for the first time, or how Tweeg and LB met. Or, I would do a sequel to the tv series.

If I could do so, I would write a backstory about how Teddy and Grubby found that old map and what acually led them to go to Grundo and how Ilana reacted to Teddy leaving Rillonia on an adventure. I mean, Teddy was in his early mid teens. I imagine that this scared Ilana quite a bit given that Burl disappeared without a trace and Teddy and Grubby were still basically kids when they left Rillonia. Also, I would write a story about Grundo's history, culture and economy.

I would also write a story which would shed light on why the Gutangs kidnapped Princess Aruzia. Like, why would they do that? And I imagine that Princess Aruzia was kidnapped not long before Teddy and Grubby arrived in Grundo. Perhaps, anywhere from a week to a fortnight before the events of the first episode of the Teddy Ruxpin cartoon.
