Hey all,
I was just wondering if there was ever a production of mp3 versions of the songs?
I would love to have Teddy Ruxpin songs be able to travel with me on my mp3 player and to be backed up digitally for that awful day when Teddy is too old or the cassettes turn to dust.

Hi and welcome, kingsamolas - nice to meet you. Unfortunately, to the very best of my knowledge, they haven't officially made MP3 versions of any of Teddy's songs (or complete stories) available on any of the legal download services out there. That said, it isn't difficult - provided that you have a computer, a tape player, a 3.5mm-to-3.5mm stereo patch cable, and this free software, Audacity - to digitise the tapes that you have, and snip out the songs by yourself, if that's of any help.

Hopefully there will be something official to say about this soon. It's an idea being thrown around, for certain. Phil Baron worked in the recording industry for a long time, so the music should be in good hands.

Awesome! ;D I do hope, that if this is being discussed, that this also includes the songs that are exclusive to the TV series. Some of them are absolutely fantastic - especially Underwater World, and Freedom.
