Is it possible for a Grubby animation cord to stop working?
I recently purchased one off Ebay, but for some reason Grubby won't play. I'm pretty sure the Grubby works, since the auction said that they both worked, at Teddy worked like the description said. I did notice that the cord fit rather loosely in both ports, so perhaps it's a problem with the cord.
Any ideas?

At one point I wrapped the tip of the cords in thick aluminum foil to tighten the connection. The cord does loose conductivity though since the metal gets old and looses polarity. Not much you can do after that. I've been experimenting with cords from the local The Source to see if I can replace mine. I'll advise here if I find one that works.

Thanks for the reply. As it turns out both Grubby and the cord work just fine, as I got him to work a couple hours ago. The cord's just finicky I guess. Thanks for the help though.
If anyone wants me to retitle this as a help thread, I'll do so. Otherwise, it can be deleted it necessary.

I hope you have luck finding an alternative. Those cords are rather tricky sometimes.
