Just a quick question, this time... Why does the Land of Grundo map, as published in the WoW Teddy I, late-WoW Teddy II, and PlaySkool Teddy II versions of The Airship, have "WORGLES" written in the spot where all of the other books say "GRUNGES"? All these years, and I never noticed it at all until I saw Kayla mention it a little while back. Now I've had the time to look at the books that I have, and now it's bugging me. I'm pretty sure that The Airship is the only book that has this, and of course, in its first edition it's at odds even with its own back cover - which mentions Grunge Music as being one of the other available book-and-tape sets. Does anyone know anything about this?

I have no clue, as I can't even see the books. That's interesting, though. I wonder if they were originally called Worgles, but they decided to change it and the change happened after they had the books finished.

I've never noticed that! Wow, that's a cool find. I would guess that the grunges were going to be called Worgles (all the other words in that area start with "w" too.) Someone just forgot to change the map. Oops!
I have three Airship books, and one has the error. I'd guess that's the one that came with my first Teddy. But my "Grubby's Romance" also has the error. I think that answers my question as to what additional story I got first.

Something I've never heard of before. This will have to go on a list of questions to ask the man in charge. I know that WoW did want to tinker with some of the names - including Teddy's. Prince Arin was originally named Prince Ruxpin and Teddy was named Simeon Greep. Ken then gave Greep the name Teddy Ruxpin and Arin to the prince. When WoW got into the picture, they weren't sure about the Teddy Ruxpin name and did focus groups testing out others. The Ruxpin name - thankfully - stuck I wish Mr. Kingsborough had done a focus group when he founded Yes! and decided to change Teddy's tunic to a red shirt....

All credit to Kayla for this - I never would have looked if I hadn't seen her mention it a couple of times. I wish Mr. Kingsborough had done a focus group when he founded Yes! and decided to change Teddy's tunic to a red shirt.... Yikes, no! Focus groups are generally regarded as bad things! Heck, it was probably a focus group that chose the red shirt and blue trousers...
