A while back when I was able to secure a Talking Mother Goose from Ebay, she came with a big stack of books. I was browsing the voices list given on the first page of the books, and I noticed that Phil Baron provided one of the voices in the 'Cinderella' story.
If anyone here has the book, I'm curious to know if he voiced the prince in the story. Also, I wouldn't mind some voice clips if someone can manage it.

While Mickey Mouse and the other WoW talkers only licensed the technology Alchemy created - Mother Goose was a AlchemyII production just like Teddy was. There were many crossover artists and crew as well as stories written by Ken. To this day I've never seen a Mother Goose talk... one day I need to get one.

blueoctopede has several Mother Goose videos on her Youtube account if you want to check it out, Josh. Even the uber rare Playskool version.
She's voiced by Russi Taylor, the same woman who provided Leota's voice on the Teddy tapes.

It at least explains why Mother Goose always felt like a "companion project" to Teddy Ruxpin, to me, whilst Mickey didn't. I never had a Mother Goose myself (I did have Mickey Mouse, and still do), but I knew someone else who did, when I was little. blueoctopede has several Mother Goose videos on her Youtube account if you want to check it out, Josh. The PlaySkool Mother Goose is so awesome! ;D Come to think of it, what Josh mentions above also explains why PlaySkool picked up both Teddy Ruxpin and Mother Goose, doesn't it? Does anyone know if WoW produced the miniaturised Mother Goose, as they did with "Teddy II" for a time, or did Mother Goose's redesign come a little too late for WoW to have manufactured at all?

Sadly, of the assorted memories I have of my Mother Goose, Cindarella isn't one of them. I'll ask Blue if she has it. Yeah, Mother Goose and TR came at about the same point in my childhood; Mickey Mouse came afterwords, and it never worked quite right for me...

My cousin has a WoW Mickey, and from the videos I've seen of it, it just didn't seem to have the 'magic' that Teddy and Mother Goose did.

Maybe that was partly because Teddy and Mother Goose were sort of original characters? Teddy definitely was, and although Mother Goose was sort of established in the minds of people, I had never seen her actually characterized before, if that makes sense.

I guess Mother Goose will have to be the next tape talker on my bucket list after I get Grubby.

Yeah. I subscribed to her, and I found it a few weeks ago.
I wonder if she has 'Peter and the Wolf' and can upload it.

I have a Talking Mother Goose for Sale. It was mine when I was a kid. My mom found it. It has the books and tapes. The box is pretty beat up. it is in pretty good condition. I am just going to donate it if no one buys it. Make me a fair offer if you are interested.
Thanks! =)
