It's Teddy's 25th soon.... September. It's creeping up! I have a big fall planned here at the site. In what has been a natural cycle, every couple of years the site has lingered a bit too long... from early 2009 to present that has happened yet again. In addition, Teddy is again out of print and production, making the site that much more valuable to Teddy's legacy. I have also got some personal things out of the way which were hampering my ability to focus on this. From about next week until mid September there will be some big updates coming and some new graphics and hopefully will get the message board hopping again too. In addition, I hope to begin production on a Teddy Ruxpin non-fiction book... about Teddy's history. It will be, hopefully, coffee-table style with a lot of pictures and interviews with people, including fans. The documentary I hoped to produce has simply been proven to be too much of an undertaking. A book will be much simpler and cost effective to produce, and who knows, may end up financing said documentary. Cross your fingers! (especially you Grubby.... Josh

If the book pans out, I am so buying a copy. I've been wanting a Teddy art and history book for ages now.
Can't wait to see what you got planned for the site.

I will sign a copy for everyone here if it goes. Haha... even the thought of signing a book I wrote makes me feel excited and bewildered, all at the same time.

Neat!
I am curious to see what the people in charge have to say about it. It would also be really neat to hear from the voice actors about the characters. Sadly, I remember so little of the cartoon.
Filming is really a difficult thing to do. I know from making a short video presentation at work for a safety event. It was a massive undertaking to make two videos, one showing a scientist performing task without any safety precautions and then a second, taking proper safety precautions. They were only about 5 minutes long but nearly 30 minutes of footage was needed, and the editing and so forth took a couple of days!

Have you thought about purchasing the Millcreek Entertainment run of the series, Sylver? They've released the entire series on DVD. It's a three volume set.

To be entirely honest with you, Kayla, I was unaware that it even existed until a few days ago. I will have to look for it next time I order some more DVD's online. It will go right in with my '80's TV and Movie Collection.

You've got a couple of options for getting the series.
There's a three volume set comprised of two DVDs per volume, and there's a single box set of the entire series. I, myself, happen to own the individual volume sets as the box set hadn't been released when I bought the three volume set.

Book signing!! Yay!!
And for once it's not my book signing ^_^
I want 2 copies: one to read over and over and over again, and one to sit lovingly on a shelf to treasure and be touched on penalty of death.

Well that is good to know. Thank you Kayla. It will go well in my collections of 80's and 90's cartoons. I will probably buy the big set since I can have all the episodes in one fell swoop, sort of like I did with Fraggle Rock.
And yes, I too would like a book. When the time comes, just let me know. I cam PM you with my information and arrange for payment and so forth.
