I grew up hearing this song that Teddy Ruxpin sang, yet I cannot seem to find it ANYWHERE on the internet. It was from a cassette tape that you used to stick in the back of Teddy. I know I am not crazy and I am just looking for somebody to validate me! The lyrics as I remember go a little something like this...
"Teddy Bear, you know that all your other toys don't quite compare./ It doesn't really matter if your hair has turned to grey cause you will say, I still recall/my favorite Teddy Bear.
I now have a little daughter that was 4 months premature and I would sing that song over and over to her while she was in the NIC-Unit. Now she is almost two and it is one of her favorite songs! Thank you!

The song is called "Teddy Bear" and it's from the "All About Bears" book and tape set for the original 1985 Worlds of Wonder Teddy Ruxpin. It is also one of my favorite Teddy songs, though I don't remember all the words, I do remember that last line.
Glad you were able to find what you were looking for!
