Hi,
How is everybody? This might be a fun topic. I know that Teddy's stories hav gotten a lot of attention but there is little discussion on Mother Goose's. What stories of hers do you like? I have four, "The Ugly Duckling," "Little Red Riding Hood," "Goldilocks and the Three Bears" and "Hansel and Gretel". I like them all but think I like some of the jokes in "Hansil and Gretel" and "Little Red Riding Hood" better. Mother Goose seems to really admire the woodsman in "Little Red Riding Hood," which I find sweet. In "Hansel and Gretel", the witch keeps tripping over everything, which I think is funny since I'm always stubbing my toes or banging my knees on things, even when I know where they are. Goldilocks is a little brat so don't like that story as much. I'd like to here what you think.

I like "Peter and the Wolf." It's one of my favorite musical pieces, and I love that they kept the argument between the bird and the duck.
