I just got an answer back from the vendor and he will not ship outside the continental USA, which means I cannot bid on this item. Remember, I'm the Canuck on this o-board. I'll do some hunting around here on some vintage toy o-boards I belong to and see if I can find a seller willing to part with a Gabby. I've tweaked enough TR talkers to kow the insides very well, I would love to get a chance to take apart a knock-off to see inside.
From what I can tell it's not a very solid or reliable system that was worked out for Gabby. Looks like an old tape deck installed for the player. I would love to see the wiring used to make the parts move, or even pass the tapes through my audio programs to take apart the data and sound tracks.
Grr... I hate mono-country sellers on eBay.
