Hi. I have 2 Spinoza bears.
the first one I got has long light fur color, with the cassette player in the leg, has longer fur and came with a lot of information on how to treat it in a hospital setting. the player is black with the logo being white. the cassettes he came with are clear and all 9 of the tapes were included. the bear seems shorter then the other one. He also came in his original box.
the second one I got has shorter darker fur color, with the cassette player in the under his stomach doesn't have a ribbon like my other one does, it also doesn't have a tail. the cassette player is white with black around it sort of. hard to describe.
I have the vhs of the legend of Spinoza. I am looking forward to getting the Catch my hug spinoza book.
I have a few questions since I new to Spinoza. I am wondering if all bears came with a ribbon? I am looking for a replacement ribbon for my one that doesn't have his. Where can I get the closest thing that matches the original? Are there different generations of bears like Teddy Ruxpin? Did the bears come with more then just the 9 cassettes? I heard there are cds of the cassettes. is it true? If so, can I still get them somewhere? Did Spinoza ever have any competition? Was Spinoza only for kids on hospitals? Was he used elsewhere? Is the the legend of spinoza book the same as the vhs? when/why did the company go out of buisness? why is the website up but nothing about the bear? If anyone wants to be my friend please let me know. i am new on this site and am looking for some friends.
Sorry for all the questions. I just love Spinoza. I want to learn as much as I can about the bear. I wish I knew about him sooner when the company was still around.
thank you all very much for your time.
