Skippy Scribbles is really awesome! He was another I was considering when I was looking for toys to buy (the time I found Funny).
Did you know, even the company that made Skippy Scribbles is called "Wonderama"! Similar to Worlds of Wonder. They also made Susie Scribbles, a doll who talked and draws just like Skippy. Their backs have the white volume wheel as well. Just like the WoW toys.

It could be a YES Teddy knockoff.
Andy Brown is reading a book just like YES Teddy reading a book above the R. Same position too.. very interesting..

Yes it is a Yes Teddy knockoff. I've never seen that tape before, is it in English? The one I have seen is "Snow White" in Spanish.

Perhaps, haha! I am very curious about Andy Brown. His cassette player is identical to Yes! Teddy. There was an eBay listing, where I saved this picture. In his tape, he tells the story of Snow White. The tapes look like Yes! Teddy, same design! I wonder if he will animate to Yes! Teddy tapes.. Or Teddy will animate to Andy Brown tape. The animation coding is very simple for this Teddy, something anyone can program. So I think it might be the same! As usual, I wish this seller recorded a video... I could not buy this bear, because I found the listing when already expired.. It was right before I bought Funny bear... But maybe it's good! Because I would not know which one to buy... ^^; Perhaps I would have bought Andy instead, because he is more rare.. But Funny was destined to be with me! Haha I think Andy Brown was made because Teddy Ruxpin was not released in Latin America. I have never seen a Spanish tape. AnimationFascination writes of Spanish tapes.. But I haven't seen it... There is an image, but it is broken. I think it was made only in beta, like the Cantonese tape. So, if Teddy Ruxpin is so popular in USA, Mexico will want to imitate, because they are neighbors. I wonder now, if there is a Mexican Teddy Ruxpin knockoff, then maybe there is also a Chinese one! In Chinese language! It would not be surprising.. I am excited! Haha Maybe we will find it one day. Quote from earlier in the thread. Excuse my English, haha I'm glad my question was answered. It's strange it does not work with Yes! Teddy, as the signals are easy to replicate..

These are Italian knockoffs. They look so much like Teddy! Down to the fur and translucent brown eyes! They are those record and repeat what you say toys. But unfortunately they dont work anymore.

Wow that Spanish tape of Andy Brown is actually in English too. I flipped the tape on the other side and played it. Andy Brown introduces himself and then a man tells a story about Any Brown and his friends doing good deeds.

Beautiful and impressive collection, it makes me miss my old collection.. I saw many of those on eBay before. I didn't know there were two versions of Ermete!
