Weird, so you mean that when I got one for Christmas in 1994 he was the 80s version? I remember very clearly that the day I got him, we popped in an Aaron Neville tape. I can't remember if it was because he didn't have a tape with him or if Mom just stuck that tape in him. I can never hear that artist to this day without thinking of Teddy Ruxpin. It is very possible, though, that I did have the 80s version, because our family is big into yard sales and thrift stores. I've also just been told that I had one as a newborn baby and that was definitely the original one because I was born in 1986.

Well, then it could be an '80s version. My grandmother was always good at getting stuff for us at garage sales. I remember the day I got my Teddy Ruxpin, because it was the day my sister was brought home from the hospital, after she was born. So that was January 31st, 1990 that I got my first Teddy Ruxpin. Though, sadly, I can't remember when I got the smaller WoW Teddy, just that someone got it for me at a garage sale.

I am new here. I prefer the Worlds of Wonder Teddy 1. I used to have one when I was a kid. I miss it now. I slept with it everynight. Does anyone know where I could buy one?

Garage sales, thrift stores, Ebay, or Amazon would be your best bets.

If this could be updated now, Teddy V should be added to the poll. He deserves some love too. Since he's the only version I've seen, I guess I'd have to say he's my favorite. After hearing some stories and reading that a new version was coming out, it felt like being told there was still room for me on the airship, even if I had come later than most of you here. Admitedly, my position still feels strange because I only learned about Teddy online, rather than seeing him first-hand. Missing out on both the Yes! and Backpack versions, the only ones I was alive for, didn't help either. Teddy V gave me my first chance to actually feel the character I had fallen in love with through youtube and the DVD's of the cartoon. For that, I will say thank you now. Kayla, I think it was you who proposed family roles for all Teddy versions. Where would you place this version in your family analogy?

The original WoW Teddy (the two-servo version specifically) without a doubt. I like that he's bigger, and that he uses cassette tapes.
