On a muppet forum that I'm on, we have a thread on this topic that's very popular, so I thought I'd make one here. Think of it as a kind of public dream journal to post any TR-related dreams, old or new, that you may have had.
This one I had years ago. I was in my first college, so it was probably in 04 or very early 05. First let me explain that this was also the beginning of my TR renaissance. I had come home one weekend, and my aunt who works in a nursery school had asked my mom if she could borrow my old Teddy to bring to school to show for teddybear week. So my mom did, and he worked pretty well except for his animaton being a bit eregular, so I listened to the Airship and overall, it was a great day. I went back to school much later that night with the intention of looking up all the information I could about the toy and everything related to it. That night I dreamed that I was sitting in my dormroom with Teddy on my lap, listening to the Story of the Faded Fobs. It was at the end of the story, and Proud to Be Me was playing. The thing was that instead of a tape in his back, it was a disk like a CD, but maybe a little smaller. In my mind in this dream world though, I understood it to be a record.
Looking forward to seeing how Teddy Ruxpin is affecting your subconscious! Happy dreaming!

I had this one dream a few weeks ago. It was at the Hard to Find City, just prior to Teddy and the gang discovering the crystals. Anyway, I was with Tweeg and L.B. as they waited for Teddy and his friends to leave the pavillion. When they leave and L.B. asks what they're carrying, and wonders if he and Tweeg should follow them, I explain to them that they're special crystals that M.A.V.O. is looking for and that Quellor would probably pay handsomely if Tweeg were to bring them to him. L.B. asks me what M.A.V.O. is, but before I could answer him, I woke up.

I had one last night, I had a large collection that was on the World records book, and I kept it in 4 large hotels. I had almost EVERYTHING teddy related, and instead of a phone, I used one of those KC beariphone's that look a lot like teddy. I was walking into one of the rooms when I heard "Come Dream with me tonight" Then I was lying in a pile of Teddies and saying, "I am the luckiest girl in the world"

I dreamed this morning that I was on youtube and I found a channel where there were full tapes uploaded. The quality wasn't great but you could still make everything out pretty well. Anyway, in the story I was listening to, a group of fobs came over to Gimmick's house to visit and play. They were playing dressup, having a fashion show or something, and Gimmick was complimenting them on their outfits. Then the fobs got into a fight or something, yelling and crying, which now I think of it isn't very fob-like behavior. It turns out they were a school group, and their teacher decided to calm them down by telling them what he promised would be the mother of all ghost stories, (those weren't the words he used but that was the idea). Just to be more discriptive, the teacher's, (there was a female teacher and a male TA, although it was the TA who did most of the talking), weren't fobs. It's possible that they were human. Anyway, he told them a legend of a terrible witch who had lived in Grundo long ago. Then for some reason he got it through his head that Gimmick was a descendent of this witch, but of course Gimmick didn't want to hear any of it. The final element seemed to come from nowhere. Apparently the class they were in was some sort of Hawaiian language and culture class, and the TA had given all the fobs Hawaiian names, which he started addressing them by at that point. Yesterday I was reading an article on the Hawaiian pantheon, and then a friend and I were having a long conversation about a Lilo & Stitch fanfic that she's planning on writing, so that might explain that last part.

This morning I had a dream, only the first part of which was TR-related. I'm not going to go into all of it, partly because it's not related, but mostly because it turned into a devistating nightmare, but here is the rellibant part.
My mom and I were somewhere, and met a group of surf grunges. It was as if they were having a streetfair or something. I met one who I first thought to be Jinny, (who is my favorite one out of the group from the series). Her voice sounded different though, and her manner seemed rather downcast and serious, not the way grunges usually acted. Perhaps the fact that it was a city block instead of a beach could account for the lack of enthusiasm and sullen attitude. Anyway, I eventually realized that this was a newcomer to the community. I think this sort of general negative feeling was a sort of foreshadowing of things to come. My mom and I got in our car and started to leave. I mentioned to her how this new grunge seemed to be acting differently from the norm, and somehow we got into an argument about it. That's when the true nightmarish half began...
Strange and disturbing to say the least.

I remember having one dream a while ago, don't know when exactly, but I was sailboarding and came to a large rock in the middle of the ocean just to look out on the horizon. Also there were Tweeg and Jana Lee (sp?), I tried to replace her with my fan-character Mia whom is Tweeg's love interest but that didn't work. Though, it was the inspiration for a scene in my fanfic "Gettin' Tweegy With It".
Another I had a couple months ago, where I was walking along a road with some grunges and Mia. Later, I'm my character Felicia and call to Tweeg who at first thought I didn't get his name right but in a second realizes I did, he becomes touched and we hug. We then start exploring an old house, in the basement were characters and settings from Disney's "Peter Pan" from the Darling house to some parts of Neverland. I later found Tweeg at the stairs in tears for being separated from his best friend, Felicia whom I was in the form of. I go to comfort him. I forget how the rest goes.
Another I had not long ago, I'm once again in the form of my fan-character Felicia and Tweeg and I hug every 5 minutes, while I'm getting him coffee, Quellor keeps interrupting to get some. Which is odd 'cause Quellor is the tea type. I don't seem to remember the rest.
Well, that's pretty much it for TR dreams I had that are worth mentioning, I'll let you all know when I have any others.

I have had a couple of very vivid dreams where I'm watching television and a new series or continuation of the story is on. I have also had dreams where I've visited Grundo but don't remember them with clarity. The more exciting a dream is usually the less we remember. :/

I've had a dream where I paid someone a lot of money to make me a full sized mascot costume that looked just like Teddy Ruxpin.
The head had animatronic eyes and mouth. The eyes blinked like the toy and I used recordings (cassettes) and the mouth and eyes moved to recordings, just like the toy while I animated with my arms and legs. The eyes were made of ping-pong balls that we dipped in lucite to reinforce and make them shiny. and my vision was actually through small cameras mounted in the nostrils of the nose and connected through an LCD screen mounted inside, behind the eyes where I could see everyone.) In the dream I went to a lot of Houston Area YMCA's to the kid's daycares and daycamps trying to spread awareness of reading.
Does this count?
Now I have had dreams of going about in an airship and helping Teddy look for his father, but it was a long time ago. I don't remember where we were, we were flying over the canopy of a dense forest.

I had a dream, it was about a year and a half ago. I had just "discovered" this group through DeviantART. I was not really that serious about anything at the time, but I was intrigued by Legendbourne's artwork and his ideas. So, I followed up and came here. Long story short, I became very active on the board, making some amazing friends and having long conversations late into the night about everything surrounding the illiop.
I was an avid follower of Teddy Ruxpin back in the day, my school notebooks and at one point, my bedroom wall was adorned with drawings of him and his friends. I can recall on my 6th grade Reading notebook writing out "Only the Pure of Spirit, may find the Treasure of Knowledge." That became my mantra throughout Jr. High. Then, other things seemed to get in the way, and I forgot what I had written so long ago. The posters and pictures came down from the wall replaced by other things. Boyfriend's pictures, crushes, and all the ups and downs of High School. It was not until College that I met someone who liked Teddy as much as I did. It was that single thing, along with other qualities about him, that brought about a friendship which turned into love, and eventually marriage.
Again, Teddy took the back seat, only returning when emotionally I felt drained. Surfacing once during 9/11/01, and later on as I dealt with watching the world I knew fall apart and saying good-bye to my grandparents. I found a certain kind of safety in reminiscing and remembering the happier times.
In 2009, I discovered this forum. Somewhere between the stress of returning to school, and getting all my "ducks in order." I had dreams about Grundo, Illiops, and of course my favorite hero, an Illiper Prince named Arin. Legendbourne gave him a last name, which made the dream more vivid. He also gave him a spirit, a sense of duty and purpose which inspired me as well.
The land of Grundo comes and goes in my dreams, sometimes it's as vivid and real as waking, and other times it is as if I am watching it through a fog my brian trying desperately to cling onto any and every memory it had of that marvelous place.
"Go not quietly, but shout as loud as you can. Rise above the treetops, echo across the mountains, call across the valleys and whisper through the meadows.
Go not quietly, be brave through the storm weather the pounding waves of darkness stoic as the mighty rock, strong as the oak
Go not quietly, be ready for action when called Know all you must know, prepare yourself Wise in all you say, honest in all you do
Go not quietly, be ready for adventure Be ingenious in your creativity, Hospitable and friendly in your relationships
Go not quietly, but GO!"

Well as luck would have it, yesterday I was finally able to come back on here after retrieving my password, and this morning I had a small TR dream. I dreamed I was I was listening to a last.fm station that played mostly Disney and other kids music. Some song came on that sounded good, but I forget what it was, and then came a cover of Pandas from the All About Bears tape. It sounded great, but for some reason last.fm wouldn't let me see who the artist was. That was all.

I've had quite a few.
Two of my recent ones involved finding a never heard of tape and a Teddy Ruxpin manga, of all things.

I had a Teddy related dream last night. Not really about Teddy, but one of the songs was playing in the dream. I dreamed I was listening to The Octopede Shuffle and trying to dance with it. Dang, now I've got that song in my head.

Hi. I read this thread a few weeks ago and found it really interesting. I had 2 dreams about Teddy Ruxpin that I can remember, they both happened in quick succession, one dream that I had featured the YouTube user Tweeterman287 who had the Teddy Ruxpin musical pillow case that the YouTube user redilliop has mentioned in his Teddy Ruxpin related video, apparently it plays one of the songs form Teddy Ruxpin Lullabies, I'm assuming it plays Come Dream With Me Tonight, and sounds like a really early electronic handheld game toy type thing, well anyway that's exactly how it sounded in this dream I had, and indeed it played Come Dream With Me Tonight as you'd expect. In the second dream I had I was watching a YouTube video where someone had put a Hunters And Collectors cassette tape in Teddy Ruxpin and a song called True Tears Of Joy was playing, the Teddy Ruxpin featured in this video must have been one with a metal tape player because Teddy's eyes and mouth were moving whilst the music was playing, also the tape was playing a bit slower than it should have been, the song was playing a semitone lower than it's supposed to. I made a video about this on YouTube, because I only have True Tears Of Joy on CD, I rigged up my YES! Entertainment version of Teddy Ruxpin to my stereo system and played the song off the CD, because we're not allowed to post links to things like Teddy Ruxpin related YouTube videos as per the forum rules I won't post the URL here, but the video is on my YouTube page.

Actually I've remembered a Teddy Ruxpin dream that I had in early 1993, I was playing with a Worlds Of Wonder Teddy Ruxpin, I know it was because of the volume control at the back, Teddy Ruxpin was missing one eye and appeared to have a bandanna or some kind around his head, when I turned Teddy Ruxpin on, the loudspeaker made a loud clicking sound very similar to my Realistic Pro-38 radio scanner that was given to me in early 1993, the scanner is from the very late 80's, and when you turn the unit on the speaker pops as the unit powers up.
