I'm starting this thread in regards to my own alternate version of the Teddy Ruxpin mythos. 10 YEARS COMEMMORATING NOW! In this thread, I hope to develop the LegRux project further and discuss the deepening and higher stakes of possible plots in the Project currently covering: Prelude to Advrux Advrux revisited - Retelling Ken's story in LegRux style. Chasing Daylight - During Quellor's darkness. The Oracle's Path The Fall of MAVO The Prophecy of the Outsider The Shadow War Aftermath I'll post more info in these plots later as I'm meant to be doing a job search right now. Attachments:

The two main characters featured in The Prophecy of the Outsider: Simon Greep and Pareya. Simon is a sixteen year old acheology student who uncovers a lost portal to Grundo while he and his mother search lost ruins found after a mudslide in Guatemala. Both he and his mother are transport to an alien world where Simon himself has a bizarre link to the past. Upon entry, Simon has a powerful artefact clamped his arm that allows him to steal and store life energy for later use. Pareya is Simon's previous incarnation who appears to 'remind' Simon of elements in the world around him. Although good-hearted and helpful, Pareya has performed dark deeds out of necessity and to make a better future, deeds that eventually lead Simon into danger... Attachments:

I did this image inspired by the Monk from Diablo 3. I liked the idea of the Hexagonal crest of the Medallion appearing in clothing and archetecture in the Illiop culture. Also, Native American dreamcatchers play an interesting part. Attachments:

Very nice. I like how you kept the original color scheme and the general motif of Teddy's Adventuring costume. I also like how you incorporated the amulet with the six crystals into the belt. The dream catcher motif using the gems within the amulet/hexagon reminds me of old alchemy incantations and signs.
Teddy's stance and expression of being "ready" at all times is cool.

Wow. Amazing, Cassia. (Sorry to abbreviate your name... better than misspelling it or eye strain trying to look at it and type it at once haha)
I continue to be envious of the artistic talent shown here.
