Calling all artists... Starting now, I'm ready for submissions to the art gallery, submissions will close December 1, and the gallery will be up on or before December 15th. Rules for submissions should be fairly obvious, although out of any of the regulars of this board at least, I have no worries about content However, no comic strips are allowed, (with any words attached, anyway) and also no parody... everyone has a good sense of humor, but this gallery is of a more serious style. Other than that, I am looking forward to seeing all the great artwork, and Jeff Wilson has agreed to critique some submissions! Each artist will be allowed ten images for the first round of this... I will do another one in 2010 sometime. The images may be slightly altered for size or thumbnailed to fit. Keep in mind, All Teddy Ruxpin characters are (C) AlchemyII. Artists do not hold copyright of the images containing characters copyrighted to other entities, even if it's completely original artwork. original characters are (C) the artist. The images will be part of the website once submitted. Send Away! Josh

By no parody, does that mean no characters dressed up like characters from other shows? Or alternate universe characters?

No those kind of things are fine, and I don't want to get too picky, I just want to avoid any blatant forms of sarcasm, i.e. anything that would be appropriate for a Grundo version of Saturday Night Live. Even in good taste, and we can all enjoy a chuckle at those sort of things, I don't want it to detract from the serious artwork on the site.

I thought that's what you meant, but I wanted to be sure before I started working.

Seeing as I caught the flu bug and I usually do my best work when sick or on really good pain killers, I'll see what I can get started over the weekend.

Yeah, okay. I'm just showing off now. This is just a concept for proportion and yes, it's unfinished but it's a start. Attachments:
