Hello again! Recently, my two year old sister has been REALLY into Teddy! I'm thrilled of course, as I love him too. Her favorite story to listen to is Grundo Springtime Singtime, as she loves to sing and dance along with the music. She doesn't enjoy The Airship though, as she doesn't like it when the airship tips over.
We've started watching through the cartoon series together too! She can surprisingly sit through one or even two episodes at a time! She's not a fan of Tweeg and L.B. though, as she thinks they're very mean for stealing the treasure map (although I think it's KINDA Gimmick's fault for sticking it into L.B.'s mouth XP).
Her very favorite thing of all though, is looking at the map of Grundo at the end of each Teddy book. She always gets REALLY exited towards the end of stores, because she knows the map is in the back. She loves trying to find Gimmick's house, and wherever Teddy was at during the book. She's also a big fan of the Rainbow Falls.
She's always very gentle and sweet with Teddy. I've taught her to treat Teddy nicely and with respect, and she always listens! She always thanks him for reading to her after every story too, which I think is especially adorable. She's told me that Teddy is her special friend, and she loves him even though his eyes don't work (I feel the same way, haha).
Now I'm constantly bombarded with questions about everything Teddy, which I love answering the best I can. She now loves drawing "treasure maps" on pretty much everything. Sometimes I draw with her (on paper of course!) and she asks me to draw the characters for her. I'm not the best artist by any means (especially with purely crayon), but she can usally tell who I drew. It helps that she has a VERY active imagination, haha. I can also sometimes hear her pretending that her toys are Teddy, Grubby, and Gimmick.
It's very nice having someone else around the house who loves Teddy, even if that someone is practically still a toddler XP. That brings me to my question, do any of you have young siblings, or even your own children, who love Teddy? Or maybe they hate Teddy, or just have no interest? Hopefully that's not the case! Either way I'd love to hear your stories and experiences!
