Hello again! There’s something else that came with my Teddy that’s interesting to me. He came with some documents, certifying he’s an authentic, original Teddy. It’s hand signed by someone called Dr. Clay Bearwell, and there’s a logo at the top that says “Toy Faire”. There’s another paper attached to it that explains a bit. It says that once WoW went out of business, the director of customer service named Clay Pimentel (who seems to be Dr. Bearwell) purchased all of WoW’s remaining stock and opened a toy shop. It was called the “Toy Faire”, and there he sold WoW products and repaired talkers at “Grundo General Hospital”. It goes on to say that the shop had to close, as they ran out of supplies. I’ve done a little research, and I can’t find too much about this topic. Has anyone here heard of this before? Or is this just common knowledge? I’m still learning about Teddy and his history, so this is interesting to me. If you want, I can post pictures of the documents.

Pictures would be most appreciated! You have a very special Teddy.
Grundo General Hospital was the *mostly* official name of the repair/customer service department at the original WOW. Mr. Pimentel's nickname was Bearwell due to so many letters from kids asking if he could "make their bear well".
Toy Faire was indeed Dr. Bearwell's California store that both repaired Teddies and sold them. It closed sometime in the late 90s after one of his main repair employees moved away. I had no idea they actually ended up running out of supplies.

I’ve taken some pictures, although I can’t figure out how to post them on mobile. I can access my laptop in a few days, so I’ll be sure to post them then, if there isn’t a way to post them now. Thank you for the info!
