Whoa. The Teddy in that second flier, the one with the kangaroo? It looks a lot like the prototype Teddy I saw on the Teddy Ruxpin FAQ. At least, I think that's where I saw it.

There were more than one of such Teddies. One is on the right in this picture. I am the only one who likes this Teddy, haha! Poor thing! I like his orange eyes. I want these prototypes for my collection! He likely has no electronics. But this is not the reason for his slim body! The first functioning Teddy Ruxpins had cassette players similar to Gabby Bear! I only have have this one picture of this Teddy, someone posted it here long ago. However, I saw the original eBay post at the time. It was a white cassette player with a door that opened from the side, like Gabby Bear. Here is the picture I took from the old thread: I don't remember the description well, it has been years. But, I think he was a fully functional Teddy Ruxpin. He is very special, I hope he is happy in his home and is being cherished by a collector. I wish I had saved these pictures, or the member of the forum had posted the cassette player picture.

The flyers posted also show Snoopy, Pamela and Casey. It reminded me of this: m.youtube.com/watch?v=_OmPmk4GNusThis document has not many pictures. Their list of talking toys and tapes is the most interesting!

Yeah, that second one is the one I was thinking about.
The orange-eyed prototype Teddy would look a lot better if his proportions were better. As it is, his face looks far to big for his head, and it doesn't look like he has as much stuffing in him.

Most prototype WoW Teddies also had big heads!
They all need more stuffing in the legs... But, I don't mind the slim body.
Orange eye Teddy is in catalog pictures too! I wish I could see if he had electronics... But most picture prototypes didn't.
Second prototype Teddy is not the same one in the catalog picture. His foot color is more like production Teddy. But they look similar! I really wish I had the cassette player picture.. If the seller made a YouTube video, it would have been very good!
I wanted to buy that Teddy.. But he was expensive...

The orange eyed Teddy was the one that was in the little Teddy booklet, wasn't he? Along with the green eyed Grubby, I think?

Green eyed Grubby? I don't think I've ever seen such a Grubby! I want to see him!
Do you have this booklet?

I don't think I personally have the booklet, but you can see it this video, courtesy of blueoctopede. If you want to see just Grubby, skip to around 3:22.

Oh! I have seen this! I did not notice his eyes were green!
Yes, this looks like the same Teddy.. I think he looks even cuter in the booklet pictures!
I wonder what happened to his left foot...

Dunno. His face still looks pretty big for his head, though.
