Hi -
I have a YouTube channel that features videos of Chuck E Cheese's animatronic characters and behind-the-scenes looks at how they work. I worked there in 1983 and had the opportunity to assist the technician with maintenance and repairs on the characters. I know there are big differences between Pneumatic-operated animatronics and Teddy Ruxpin, which operates with DC servo motors, but hopefully I can help out in some way. I'm also good with cassette units. Also, I always thought TR was really cool! I loved Teddy when he was introduced in the 80's. BTW, my best buddy is CEC Ruxpin, who recently joined the forum. I look forward to chatting with you guys!
Regards,
Big Cheese

Welcome!
There is no Chuck E Cheese where I live, but I am very interested in those animatronics. I have been fascinated with animatronics and robotics since I was a child. It is amazing that you worked with them! I love repairing electronics in general, and have been repairing cassette talkers, Furbies etc. since I was first collecting.
It would be so interesting to learn how to repair CEC animatronics!
