Hi all -
First off - I want to send a warm welcome out to all the new folks who have joined in the last few weeks. Some of you I've sent greetings to personally and some I haven't had the chance to. I just want to let everyone know I'm thrilled to see the board becoming more active again. I'm happy to see the YouTube community of TR fans joining us. While I have never been active there, I do stop by once in awhile and see a lot of cool discussions going on there. I'm glad Teddy can be represented in that medium.
I've been on an extended hiatus from actively updating the website since mid-2011. These things happen now an then, usually every couple of years when my job gets busy. The activity here lately with all the new members has been inspiring and I've decided to use a four day weekend I have coming up to get back to work on some new things for the site. I'm going to be working on incorporating some advertising for the new DVD release as well as getting a few more episode guides done and going more in-depth on the BackPack version. If anyone has any requests for any new content, let me know.

I'd like to say "Hi" to all of you new guys (sheesh, it wasn't all that long ago that I was new here, myself! ), too, if that's ok. The place has really come alive lately, and it's great fun! ;D

I would also like to say hello to all the new members. It feels like only yesterday that I got in touch with Josh, and joined the forum. When, it's actually been a year and four months since I joined the Teddy Ruxpin fandom. I've had so much fun since then talking about Teddy, and getting to know some people here on the board. I hope you all have as much fun as I have had and will continue to have.
Josh, let me know what episodes you'd like done and when you'd like them done by, and I'll do a few of them for you. It'll be fun to work on more reviews while I wait for the rest of my materials to come to me for my slideshow. I enjoyed working the two that I worked on last year.
I do have one request. I don't know if you're still planning on doing this from the conversation that we had about it last year, but, a section with Adventure Series reviews, from all the various incarnations would be good. Also a section on the animatronic movie as well.

I've tried to greet them all, but just in case I missed anyone:
Hi, new people! Welcome to the boards, and enjoy your stay!
By the way, are you going to do anything with that art gallery from a couple years ago, Josh?

I'm sort of a newby to Teddy and to this board, ,although I've wanted Teddy for twenty years. I have to say that this board is awesome and I'm glad it's been really active. It's fun to be able to talk Teddy with like-minded people.

This particular board has been around since 2005 and previous to that I had one with a now defunct service for about six years. This is probably the most active the board's ever been, at least considering the amount of unique members posting. Around the time Teddy was re-released in '06 - '08 things were pretty hopping too, but I think this still beats that. I hope it continues. It's fun to have not only TR related discussion but also discussion with like minded individuals. I find the vast majority of Teddy fans are a very friendly group that don't seem to easily find the negative and aren't the first to pick a fight. Although I have varied interests I find it's harder to discuss the others in an online setting without getting into some sort of off topic junk. I'm glad we've all assembled here

@monkeyboy - If you'd like to do some more reviews that would be great. Pretty much any episode that isn't already done, with the exception of Grubby's Romance - that one is close to my heart and will have it's own section soon. I am going to add some Adventure Series stuff this coming weekend off (which is now a week later than I previously thought) but I'm not sure that I will do it in a review style. I will see what seems to work the best. @kayla - The Art Gallery is way overdue. Thanks for reminding me. May not get to it this weekend but need to get the wheels in motion anyhow.

Great. I'll get to work on a few of them this week and e-mail the reviews and screencaps to you by Friday or Saturday. Cool. That's great, because we've got episode reviews, and info on the various incarnations of the toy, but nothing on the Adventure Series itself. By the way, what Art Gallery are you guys talking about?

Well I'm glad I'm on this board, I wanted to say my piece on what's been talked about recently, that is the DVD's and the rumours about a new Teddy Ruxpin toy and see what the rest of you think, I guess as I've been saying that we'll wait and see what happens over the next month or so.

@josh - Yay! I can't wait! @monkeyboy - Josh made a call for art from the board's members a while back. He planned on putting up a gallery and even getting official Teddy artists to comment on them. Just for the curious, my art is here.

kaylathehedgehog - I see. That's really cool though. Featuring board members' artwork in a gallery like that and getting official Teddy Ruxpin artists to comment on them. @josh - I've picked out five episodes that I really want to do, so the reviews will be done and sent to you by Friday. Teddy fans are friendly and nice, because Teddy is friendly and nice. We just emulate what he's taught us. I know what you mean by discussing things on other boards, and things turning into a huge fight, and getting off topic. @everyone else - It's been a real honour to be a member of this community, and I look forward to future conversations. I'll contribute as often as I can, and even start new threads, if I have questions that I feel should be answered, even if the answer is just a guess.
