I've remembered another Teddy Ruxpin related dream I had, this one happened in 2010, I was listening to my James Reyne cassette tape in my Worlds Of Wonder Teddy Ruxpin, a song called Heaven On A Stick was playing, and the song was playing an octave lower than it normally should, the tape also sounded very distorted, but then that's the case with the plastic tape player based Tedyd Ruxpin toys as some of you will know.

I dreamed about Teddy all night last night because I finally ordered one off of Ebay. I kept dreaming about getting him and what he would be like.

I've been having more dreams about Teddy Ruxpin recently, I had one on Sunday morning, in this dream my best friend and I were listening to my Teddy Ruxpin, I'd just inserted a cassette that was supposed to upgrade the operating software in Teddy Ruxpin, but of course as we know Teddy Ruxpin is completely analogue and doesn't have any firmware or operating system of any kind. When I switched Teddy Ruxpin on I was told that the tape would install a new version of the software, and that I had to wait for a beep tone to sound, at that point the upgrade would be completed, I was told to allow the tape to run to the end and I was also warned not to turn off the power during the upgrade procedure or Teddy Ruxpin could be damaged. This morning I had another dream about Teddy Ruxpin in which I was listening to the songs at the end of The Missing Princess whilst eating some McDonald's chips in my bedroom, some of the chips got dropped onto the carpet and I picked them up and ate them anyway. The cassette tape ended and I wanted to hear the songs again, so I turned over the cassette to wind it back to the right spot so I could hear the songs, but when the tape started playing Teddy Ruxpin was telling a story about the characters in MAVO, he was talking about the characters voices and he mentioned their names, one character who he mentioned I believe is called Ickly, but I don't know if Ickly is a member of MAVO or not, I must admit I've watched very few episodes of the cartoon show. The characters in this story sounded like the Mudblups from the TV cartoon show.

He is a member of MAVO. He's pretty funny. He is always citing rules from the MAVO handbook.

Yeah Ickley is one of my favorites... We all know somebody like him. He's easy to dislike but hard to hate...

I had another Teddy Ruxpin related dream this morning, i believe I was at Woolworths with my sister and they were selling stuffed Teddy Ruxpin and Grubby toys, but they didn't look very much like what Teddy Ruxpin really looks like, they were pretty ugly actually, and they didn't talk, they were just stuffed.

I'd love to have a Teddy and Grubby plushie. Actually, I'd love to have a Grubby. I got two Teddies. Now I need Grubby. I'd like to have a grubby for every Teddy I have, but I don't have enough space and money for that.

I had another dream about Teddy Ruxpin this morning, I was in my parents' bedroom I think, there was an electronic keyboard and a digital piano in there and they were both on stands, I think I somehow accidentally managed to knock both of them off their stands, and as I was trying to put them back on their stands I was listening to a radio program of some sorts and Come And Discover The World With Me was playing, the original version that is, then another version started playing, only this other version was slower than the original, the song was being played on a piano, the the person singing it sounded like an elderly man with a Middle Eastern or very strong European accent.

That sounds all kinds of cool. You have some cool dreams. Mine are usually either goofy or scary.

I had a Teddy Ruxpin dream last night or this morning. I dreamed that Grubby had the black box used on him by Quellor and Teddy and Newton had to find a way to restore Grubby back to normal. I woke up before it played out.

I've had yet more Teddy Ruxpin related dreams this week, I had a dream in which I was visiting relatives and they gave me a Coleco talking ALF toy, I played with it for a while, then I played The Airship in it and I was singing along to Come And Discover, but I wasn't singing in time with the song.

That is just too awesome. You really love your Teddy Ruxpin, but of course so do I. I wish I was brave enough to be caught singing TR songs, lol.

I had a brief Teddy Ruxpin-related dream last night. I was observing, and taking part in, some trials for a new mouth assembly for a new talking Teddy Ruxpin toy (the toy itself was Teddy II/Teddy IV sized). The idea was to find a new mouth design that's a bit more durable than those in previous models. One was like a cross between the style (and fabric) of Teddy II's muzzle, and the shape and general look of Teddy I's muzzle. This mouth assembly was not part of a talker, and was just viewed on its own. It used two servos, as the very earliest Teddy I models did. This mouth was too long and a bit too big, and looked a bit creepy, and thus was rejected. One of them resembled the mouth of Teddy II, but if dropped face-down, would push into the head so as to prevent damage to the mouth and the workings inside the head. This design had a problem, as it was possible to push it inside the head whilst running which caused problems as the mouth continued to try to move even so, and also sometimes it would get stuck and fail to pop out again. This mouth design was actually part of a prototype talker (who also strongly resembled Teddy II), but was rejected due to its issues, and due to the fact that it looked extremely freakish when it was popped into the head. That was all there was to it.

I've had 2 dreams about Teddy Ruxpin this week, in one i was using what looked like the YES! Teddy Ruxpin, I found a small button on Teddy Ruxpin's stomach and when I pressed it it sounded like the spoken language in the program changed, I think I was listening to the Lullabies program. Pressing the button at one point appeared to put Teddy Ruxpin into some kind of service mode which caused his eyes to blink very rapidly. In another dream I had I appeared to be watching a video posted by the YouTube user vWestlife, he appeared to be repairing a Teddy Ruxpin, in reality vWestlife probably may know what a Teddy Ruxpin is, but if he has one I don't know about it because I don't think he's made any videos about Teddy Ruxpin, anyway I don't think vWestlife is the type of person who'd be interested in Teddy Ruxpin.
