Agree, agree to all !! Another thing that should be brung back is plashes of Teddy anGrubby(Some that are electronic, some that are just plush). And also, the Fobs should be brought back (There were Fob talking toys made as prototypes by WoW, but puppets would work XD)!!

Oh yeah, absolutley. I just hope they don't mess up Teddy Ruxpin the way they messed up My Little Pony in 2003 & 2004 and in recent years with that Core 7 garbage. They eventually messed up the Care Bears with the Adventures in Care-A-Lot stuff.

I'm sure that as long as Mr. Forsse is involved and the people making whatever they make, really care about the franchise, there's no chance, or a very slim one that it won't get screwed up. But, whatever gets made will be a great way to bring Teddy into the 2010s. Whether it's a new talking toy, action figures and playsets, a tv show or movie.

A talking toy needs to be made first, then all the other stuff. We don't really need the cartoon again, it was focused on in the 2000's. The toy is where the magic is at.

What we need is someone who will do for Teddy Ruxpin what Lauren Faust did for My Little Pony. Something that kids will love, but that adults can enjoy as well.
Also, whoever gets the rights next, they need to remember to push Teddy's name. I'm fairly confident that that was the one of the biggest problems with the BackPack Teddy not selling well. I honestly cannot recall ever seeing any advertisements for him, but TJ Bearlytales was being advertised left and right. Bring back POP displays so that parents can actually see what Teddy can do. People will be a lot more inclined to purchase something they can test than something that they can't.
They also need to be sure not to neglect the merchandising side as well. Teddy had a boat-load of merchandise in the eighties, and there's no reason he can't in modern times.
Whoever obtains the rights to Teddy next needs to not just treat him as a gimmick (no pun intended), but as a full-blown property that needs to be nurtured and cared for.
