If I ever win a million dollars, I'm going to have a Wooly costume created (as much as I would love to dress as an Octopede I don't see the mechanics working for a costume)

You wouldn't need a million for a Wooly Costume. There are some great online sites that show you how to make a furry costume. So all you would need is some time, and a basic boiler suit, and lots of foam. As well as the fur. Which you can order from Jo-Ann fabrics. The head is the hardest part but it is doable.

Yes, the head would be the hard part... and the part where money would become an issue. I know a few very talented artists now thanks to this community, however, that could maybe at least draw what I was looking for to give to a sculpture artist.. hint hint, haha! That would be something to put a year or two's effort into... would give me time to work on my *bbrrrrrr* Wooly Voice too

The Octopede costume wouldn't be so hard to do. Just use fish wire to connect all the legs together and when you walk you'd get the effect we see in the show. Backing up would be the hard part.

You could always bribe three friends. ;D theonemouse Congrats on scoring the costume! I was eyeballing it myself, but it wouldn't fit me.

Gimmick would actually be a GREAT costume! Big, thick-rimmed glasses....a screwdriver in the vest pocket...a magnifying glass...and plans to the Airship (copy them from the screencaps on the DVD) and you've got yourself a gen-u-ine professor! I forget where this is from: but anyone else would be a "lesser professor". Just had to say that.

rainbowfalls - Who says they stuff you buy on eBay has to fit you? I buy it just to have in my collection. You should see some of the T-shirts and sweaters I picked up.

I got a couple of rare items this year... the beachball and "greatest hits" cassette unopened, as well as an unopened bag of sandwich bags. The Greatest Hits cassette is a music tape and not for use in Teddy, and I'm dying to know what's on it, but can't bring myself to open it.

To open or not to open: the collector's eternal question.

I also got a Greatest Hits tape and the beachball, unopened. I still have no idea what's on it as I stopped using cassette players years ago.
